Consuming alcohol has always been a myth. The fight in favor and against of alcohol regarding health is always a debate. Numbers of researchers have had given their words to this issue and found out that people who have less amount of alcohol in their daily life have a low risk of heart diseases whereas people who don’t even touch a glass of alcohol have a high risk of hugging heart diseases. Though heavy drinking is not at all in favor of spending a healthy life. Drinking liquor in a huge amount might lead a person to the issues like heart attack and liver failures.

4 ounces of wine is equal to one drink.
One drink is equal to 1 ounce of 100-proof spirits.

It is said that having a small amount of an alcohol can keep people away from having multiple diseases. It protects heart health and cures basic heart issues.
Red wine has been comparatively highly preferable. It has more power to prevent heart problems because it contains a huge number of antioxidants. These are commonly known as polyphenols. The purpose of polyphenols is to protect the lining of blood cells of the heart.
We cannot ignore the presence of resveratrol in red wine. The function of resveratrol is to protect the blood vessel from getting damaged, it does not allow clotting in blood and also helps in reducing the bad cholesterol in the blood.
A research had been done on the mouse which shows that the presence of resveratrol protects against diabetes and other heart problems.
Some tests had also been done on pigs to see the nature and reaction of resveratrol on blood. The results proved that it aids blood from having diabetes and maintain the level of insulin. Research also showed that it has an ability to increase the blood flow which eventually is good for heart health.
Although, all the research has been done on animals and not on humans. Doctors are not 100% sure either red wine is helpful in having a healthy life or not. But, it is the fact that red wine contains antioxidants. It helps in purifying the blood and increases the flow to heart followed by the whole body.
